The CAMCooLER 9Thirteen is designed as an active cooling fan solution. Works with GoPro HERO9 Black, HERO10 Black, HERO11 Black, HERO12 Black, and HERO13 Black camera overheating issues when used in a static environment. Our newest model, this cooler incorporates the ability to use the GoPro Contacto Magnetic Door or USB Pass-Through Door and uses traditional GoPro fingers, GoPro Magnetic Latch Mount, or the PGYTECH Caplock action camera quick release set. Variable speed fan with included the USB speed controller. Plug in for constant speed 5000 rpm speed or use the included USB speed controller to vary the fan speed. It will help keep your action camera from overheating when recording sporting events, vlogging, creating YouTube content, as a dash cam, or in a small airplane! Whether you find yourself in a cozy studio environment or basking under the scorching sun at your next event, this fan has got you covered. Made with PET-GF (Polyethylene Terephthalate) that’s been reinforced with chopped glass fibers to make it stiffer, stronger, and more dimensionally stable than standard ASA version, yet remains UV-resistant and resistant to environmental stress cracking. The Cooler is fully compatible the GoPro Contacto Magnetic Door or USB Pass-Through Door and the Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter from GoPro. We recommend using an external microphone, so the fan noise doesn’t overwhelm the camera’s internal microphone. IP68-rated fans are waterproof against jets of water, but they are not rated for direct submersion in water. Warning: Please be aware that the cooling fan assembly may cause cosmetic marking, marring, and or light scratching to your GoPro case with repeated use. This is cosmetic and doesn’t impact the function of the camera. However, do not use our product if this concerns you. The cooling fans will suck in dust and coat the camera with a fine layer of dust, especially when players slide into Homeplate. It is highly recommended to have a battery door that has a passthrough for the power cable. This helps prevent dust migration into the GoPro camera. DO NOT stick your fingers or anything else in the fan blades at any time. Install the cooler over your device first and secure it using the method described in the instructions before applying power. Ensure your fingers and electrical cords are clear of the blades before applying power. Sustaining 5.3K recording for extended periods above 100°F is likely NOT feasible. Conversely, 4K at 105°F or 1080P at 115°F is highly effective. As a general guideline: Lower recording resolutions are advised for higher ambient temperatures! Utilizing our cooler fan can effectively lower the operating temperatures of your devices, enabling continuous recording or operation in several scenarios. However, it’s important to note that CAMCOOLERLLC offers no guarantee and will not be held liable for any lost recorded video footage or device malfunctions resulting from overheating. In summary, it’s essential to monitor operating conditions, adjust recording resolutions and settings based on environmental temperatures accordingly to ensure optimal performance and mitigate potential overheating issues.
